As our Customer Insights Expert you will provide our network- and innovation teams with the data they need on customers, the market and the competition. You dive deep into our data, you play with it to find patterns and to connect the dots. If necessary you do extra market research. You decide what to select and what to subtract. With your insights you turn our data in something meaningful. This will help us understand our customers, deliver an insane customer experience and provide a competitive and differentiating offer in the market. Last but not least you present the message in a story and concrete actions.
In short the Customer Insights Expert is responsible for:
Developing quantitative & qualitative studies on customers, the market and competitors;
Working with key stakeholders to write quantitative surveys and qualitative questionnaires, provide guidance on the right types of research to answer strategic questions, and analyze and report our results;
Maintaining a regular rhythm of surveying and reporting on key studies;
Executing research: programming studies, setting up logistics for focus groups, and managing our research vendors. You’ll need a insatiable thirst for efficiency so we can do more, faster;
Socializing insights & galvanizing teams: you’ll write reports that help cross-functional teams and leadership understand the insights from research, and you’ll inspire teams to jump into action when we see opportunity;
Supporting new initiatives: you’ll support our Innovation team who work on our big, new ideas, helping them decide which opportunities to pursue, and whether our solutions solve a customer need.
Languages currently used: SQL,R, Python
CRM system in use: Sugar, Big Query and Data Studio by Google

Within this role you will be part of the marketing team. Kim, our Marketing Director will be your manager. However, in this position you work independently and you will have contact with many stakeholders in the organization.

We’re looking for an experienced Customer Insights Expert, who likes to be part of our multidisciplinary team, and will open our eyes to marvelous insights into our customers, competitors and processes. Essential requirements include:
You have a Master's degree in business, marketing or related field;
You have at least 5 year experience as Customer Insights Expert, or a similar role;
You have great communication skills in Dutch (native speaking) & English;
You have experience in building new dashboards and tools;
You have worked with Data Studio, R, Tableau, Python and webcrawlers;
You have a good understanding of GDPR, Security and Security practices;
You are great at visualizing your insights in a way that conveys the message in a simple and clear way.
